The Fort George STEAM Camp wrapped up after three dynamic weeks of learning and creativity. Hosted by Area Representative Henry Charles Usher, the camp engaged children in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through interactive projects, computer classes, and team challenges.
The program aimed to ignite curiosity and inspire future careers in STEAM. At todayβs closing ceremony, students proudly received certificates celebrating their commitment and growth.
Hon. Usher thanked everyone involved, noting, βWe wanted to give our kids more than just a campβwe wanted to give them a spark for the future.β More STEAM programs are planned for Fort George.
Fort George STEAM Camp Wraps Up After Three Weeks of Innovation and Fun!
The Fort George community was buzzing with energy over the past three weeks as Area Representative Henry Charles Usher hosted a vibrant STEAM Camp (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) for children in the area.
From creative art projects to computer basics and hands-on problem-solving, the camp delivered a powerful blend of learning and fun. Each day, participants discovered new skills, built confidence, and saw how STEAM can open doors to exciting future opportunities.
Today, the camp concluded with a certificate ceremony honoring every childβs hard work, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
Hon. HCU expressed his gratitude to the students, parents, and volunteers who made the camp a success, emphasizing that this is only the beginning of more STEAM initiatives for Fort George.
