MSME Tax Amnesty Programme Launched ✅

BELTRAIDE, the Belize Tax Service Department, the Investment Policy and Compliance Unit, and the Department of Local Government officially launched the MSME Tax Amnesty Programme.

This initiative allows small business owners who have operated informally to become compliant without facing penalties or interest on past tax obligations.

Participants will also enjoy a one-year exemption from business tax upon receiving the MSME Tax Amnesty Certificate.

To ensure accessibility, nationwide roadshows will be held. Entrepreneurs are encouraged to take advantage of this limited-time opportunity. Applications close on October 29, 2025.

Punta Gorda Opens First Art Gallery 🎨🏛️

Punta Gorda Town proudly celebrates the opening of its first Art Gallery and Museum, a cultural hub showcasing clothing, baskets, jewelry, and other handmade treasures by 22 indigenous women artisans.

These artisans recently completed advanced training in product development and design, empowering self-sustainability and cultural pride.

The initiative was made possible through collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, the Home of Indigenous Arts Belize Limited, and the Embassy of Taiwan.

On September 29, 2025, the People’s United Party proudly marked its 75th anniversary under the theme “PUP @ 75, Serving the People, Continuing the Revolution.”

Over a thousand leaders, delegates, and supporters gathered in Orange Walk Town for the National Party Council.

Hon. John Briceño and Hon. Cordel Hyde delivered inspiring speeches, while awards honored youth, long-standing supporters, women leaders, and distinguished service.
