Day 2 – Sharing AI Vision with Rotary Governors (May 24)

I spoke with the Governors of Rotary in Belize – the leaders who guide multiple clubs across the district. We went deeper on strategic AI use for district-wide impact.

We explored:
🔹 How Governors can help clubs adopt AI
🔹 A live demo of a custom AI agent trained on Rotary’s own documents (mission, project templates, grant guidelines)
🔹 Best Practices
🔹 Governance &Data safety: what Governors should ask clubs to avoid sharing

The conversation was rich, practical, and forward-looking. These Governors understand that AI is not a future trend – it’s a present tool for better communication, faster reporting, and more effective service.

Special thanks to the Governors for your time and leadership. I’m inspired by how seriously Belize Rotary takes innovation.

Day 1 in Belize – AI Literacy for Rotary Leaders (May 23, 2026)

I had the privilege of training the Presidents and Board members of the Rotary Club of Belize. These are busy, service-driven leaders – and they showed up ready to learn how AI can amplify their impact.

We moved beyond the hype. Together, we covered:
✅ Basic AI literacy (what it is, what it isn’t)
✅ Practical wins: bulletins, grant drafts, meeting summaries
✅ Safety & ethics – no member data, always verify
✅ The main event: building custom AI agents for their own clubs – bots that know their bylaws, meeting schedules, and project history.

Watching a Rotary President ask their custom bot for a draft schedule or park ideas… that’s when the light bulbs turned on.

AI won’t replace the handshake or the service project. But it will give Rotarians back hours each week to focus on what matters: Service Above Self.
