Woman Claims GI3 Violated her rights

A mother of 3 says she was awakened from her bed at her home in West Landivar on Saturday morning, by the sounds of the GI3 banging on her door at 6:00AM.

She says that police came in and searched her home, allegedly without a warrant and no female officer present, notable because it was only her and her teenage daughters at home when the search happened.

She told us more about the incident she claims that has robbed her and her children of their inner peace.

Family of Knock Down Victim needs Help

Anatolio Lazaro was knocked down in November of 2025 - and six weeks later, he’s out of an induced coma but no one has been charged.
Today, the victim’s brother Jose Lazaro came to our newsroom after his brother was discharged from the KHMH, where the hospital says that they can’t do anything more for him. His brother's medical bill is already over 10 grand and he will need a lot of aftercare. So, tonight the family from Corozal is seeking both medical and legal assistance for their loved one.
His brother came to our studio today and gave us more details on the situation.

One man detained after 35k in phones stolen from Pletts

Thieves in Orange Walk tunneled through a cement wall to get into an electronics store early on Saturday morning. That’s how they got into Plett's Electronics on Queen Victoria Avenue where they stole some cash and about 20 phones, many of them being top tier iPhones.

Police told us today that it was a 3 man job:
In total, the thieves made off with 21 phones - 18 of them iPhones - with a total retail value of 35 thousand dollars.

Man Shot Dead While Sleeping Beside Wife And Great Grandson

Earlier in the news we told you about a father who was stabbed to death. Well, another father - and grandfather - was shot while sleeping with his great grandson. 57 year old Phillip Nicholas was at home when he and his family were targeted. However, only he received injuries, while his wife was left traumatized. Courtney Menzies visited the home today and has this story.
Police had detained one man based on a dispute he had on Saturday night with Nicholas.

A family is left to endure their worst nightmare after 13 year old Magezi Miller drowned yesterday.

It happened when he was fishing and only two days after returning home from visiting his mother in the US.

Jaleeza Roberts went west and got a better picture of the young life lost.

Father Of One Disappears Overnight, Found Dead In Parking Lot Next Afternoon

A 4 year old girl is left wondering where her father is after 26 year old Patrick Uh was killed sometime between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Uh left his Ladyville home before 8:00 in the night and was found dead the next day at 2:00. While his family admits he had a drinking problem, they say he never got into trouble while socializing, and he always made his way back home.

But this time he didn’t, and his common law wife is left to answer her daughter's questions. Courtney Menzies spoke with her today and has this story.
