Today the party recognizes two long-standing members of our community with the anniversary coin commemorating the 75th birthday of the People’s United Party (PUP).

Mr. Alfredo Kuylen, a retired teacher, one who always gives good guidance and a member of the party.

Don Jose β€œChepe” Quetzal, historian and storyteller and knows the PUP’s history. He worked alongside Mr. Rafael Morales and my uncle, Luis Morales, helping to strengthen the party’s presence and preserve its legacy for future generations.

This coin recognizes their dedication to the PUP and the ongoing work of the party in building a stronger, more united Belize.

Today, I stopped by Mr. Rafael Morales to present him with the Aniversary coin commemorating the 75th birthday of the People’s United Party (PUP).

Mr. Morales has been a loyal supporter and proud member of the party since the age of 14. He shared memories of campaigning and working alongside my uncle, Luis Morales, when he was just 17 years old, walking door to door and helping to strengthen the party’s presence in the community.

A true mentor, a dedicated community leader, and a man who always finds time to offer words of wisdom. Mr. Rafael Morales is an example of service, commitment, and love for the people.

Below is one of the original Party ID cards given to Mr. Morales by the Rt. Hon. George Cadle Price in 1968, marking his long and proud journey with the PUP.
