***WOMAN TERRORIZES EXPAT NEIGHBOURHOOD FOR THE PAST 5 DAYS IN COROZAL***

Reliable reports are that a woman who has just moved into to an expat neighbourhood in Serenity Road, Corozal has been terrorizing the area for the past five days.

This Admin's first hand experience with the woman in the video was yesterday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. while on a real estate tour with two clients, we were heading to the Serenity Road public beachside area for a viewing, when we noticed a commotion in the middle of the street and the same woman in the video hurling rocks at trucks that were delivering sand in the area. She was standing in the middle of the road attempting to block traffic. In one instance, she took a hard swing at the pan of a white truck and hit it very hard with a hammer. We were driving right behind the white truck going in the same direction and as we approached the woman, she took a swing at our vehicle, we immediately decided to turn back, as we thought she was showing signs of erratic and violent behavior.

The video circulating is not our experience but that of two other expats who have been attacked by the woman this morning in the same vicinity.

In the video, you will see her trespassing someone's private land, holding a metal chain and swinging it hard at the man videoing her. You can hear two gentlemen tell her "this is not your property..back off"

We have been reported that the woman may have some mental issues.

The matter has been reported to the police and we have been informed that the police are on the site to investigate this incident before anyone gets hurt.

The confirmed resignation of Minister José Abelardo Mai from Cabinet is yet another stark indication of the deepening instability and internal fractures within the Briceño Administration. At a time when Belize is grappling with a crisis of public confidence in state institutions, escalating crime, and growing concerns about corruption and mismanagement, this sudden departure raises urgent questions. The people of Belize want to know:

What internal conflicts or external pressures have prompted this abrupt resignation?

Let us be clear, Mai’s abrupt resignation is NOT an isolated event; it is a symptom of a government rapidly unraveling, overwhelmed by its own failures and disconnected from the realities facing our citizens.

Following a debriefing with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, it is evident that Belize’s governance crisis is no longer just a domestic concern. Our international partners are watching closely, and they have expressed clear interest in stability, accountability, and adherence to democratic norms. The turmoil within Cabinet has now become a matter of international and diplomatic attention.

The resignation of a senior minister immediately following a Cabinet reshuffle subsequent shuffle “remix” exposes a government that is being dismantled by the weight of its own incompetence and internal discord. Belizeans deserve clarity. Belizeans deserve honest leadership. Belizeans deserve a government focused on national priorities not political survival.

The United Democratic Party renews its call for full disclosure from the Prime Minister and we demand immediate transparency regarding the circumstances of Minister Mai’s resignation. As we fast approach the Party’s grand reset at our National Leadership Convention scheduled for Sunday, 30th November 2025, we offer our unequivocal assurances to the Belizean people that the UDP is ready to take over the reins of our country’s governance. The people have lost ALL confidence in this BLU PUP Briceno Administration. The UDP is fully committed to the future well being of our beloved Belize.

🚨 RULES FOR HOUSE/DOMESTIC GARBAGE COLLECTION 🚨

✅ All household garbage should be bagged and sealed properly, to avoid garbage from scattering.

✅ Your home should have a proper garbage bin. If you don’t have any, kindly report it by calling the Corozal Town Council at 480-2072.

✅ Your garbage bin should be properly secured. We encourage garbage separation by bags – separate plastics, glass, paper in separate bags.

✅ Green Waste (branches, lumber) & White Waste (appliances, old furniture, debris from construction) are not household garbage and is collected after the payment of A FEE. Kindly report green waste and white waste at our Revenue Department at 480-2072 or 673-2073 (WhatsApp available).

✅ Only household garbage should be placed in your garbage bin. Avoid putting out your garbage days before your designated garbage collection day and especially after your garbage collection day. Doing so puts your garbage at risk of being tampered with and causing littering.

✅ Keep your yard and your surroundings tidy and clean. Keeping garbage around your yard is littering and property owners can be fined up to $500.00 for littering.

✅ DO NOT THROW GARBAGE IN ANY PUBLIC SPACE 🚫 ❌
