📢 NETFLIX CUSTOMERS — PLEASE READ!
We're making an important change to how Netflix subscriptions will work through StreamSavvy. If you currently use Netflix through us, this post explains exactly what happens to your existing account, your remaining credit, and how the new gift card system will work.
📢 IMPORTANT NETFLIX UPDATE — HOW THE NEW GIFT CARD SYSTEM WILL WORK
Hi everyone! 💜
I know some of you have questions about the new Netflix gift card system, especially when it will take effect and what happens to your existing account, so I want to explain everything clearly.
📺 FOR MY CURRENT NETFLIX CUSTOMERS
You do not need to create a new account.
You are welcome to continue using the same Netflix email and password that I originally provided to you. If you would like to change the password, you may absolutely do so.
You can also choose to switch the account over to your own email and password if you prefer.
The important difference is that I will no longer need access to your account to add credit. That is exactly what the gift cards are for.
Once you purchase your Netflix gift card:
1️⃣ You send me your payment confirmation.
2️⃣ I send your digital Netflix gift card via WhatsApp.
3️⃣ You redeem the gift card yourself.
4️⃣ The credit is added to your Netflix account and you take over from there.
⏳ WHAT HAPPENS TO THE CREDIT YOU ALREADY HAVE?
If you currently have credit remaining on your Netflix account, nothing changes immediately.
I will continue your account using the credit you have already paid for.
For example, if you have enough credit remaining for another monthly renewal, I will apply that renewal as usual.
Once your existing credit has been used up, you will then purchase your own Netflix gift card if you wish to continue the service.
📅 CUSTOMERS WHO PAY EVERY 3 MONTHS
The same applies to you.
Any Netflix credit you have already paid for will continue to be used up to the period you've already paid for.
Once that paid period ends, you can purchase your own Netflix gift card directly through StreamSavvy if you wish to continue.
🔐 AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR GIFT CARD...
This is the important part. 👀
Once you redeem your gift card, your Netflix account is officially in your hands.
You are free to choose the plan that works for you, add devices, manage your household, change your password, and manage your account as Netflix allows.
However, any changes you make to your Netflix account after that point are your responsibility.
Please be mindful when:
• Changing your Netflix plan
• Adding additional devices
• Sharing your login information
• Sharing the account with people outside your household
• Changing account settings or other account information
If a plan is upgraded, additional charges are incurred, the gift card balance runs out sooner than expected, or an account issue occurs because of changes made on your end, StreamSavvy will not be responsible for those charges or losses.
I will no longer have access to or control your Netflix account once the gift card system begins for you, so I unfortunately cannot monitor or correct changes made to the account afterward.
💜 WHY THE CHANGE?
This change is simply the best way forward.
It gives YOU control of your Netflix account while also eliminating the constant issues we've been having with upgrades, password changes, household changes, account sharing, cancellations, and unexpected losses.
I truly appreciate everyone's understanding as I make this change. I know it is a little different from how we've done things before, but I believe it will make Netflix much simpler and more straightforward for everyone in the long run.
All other StreamSavvy streaming services will continue as usual, for now.
