Shoot RAW when you can. Edit your photos. Study what went wrong and what worked.

That process will force you to understand settings, framing, light, shadows, color, and eventually, your own taste.

And no, you do not always need to walk around with your main camera. Many phones can shoot RAW now, which means you can practice even when all you have is your phone in your pocket.

Also, pay for Lightroom if you are serious. The mobile app is powerful, especially when you start learning how much control you actually have over color, exposure, and mood.

Photography is not only about the camera.
It is about repetition.
It is about seeing.
It is about training your eye until your style starts showing up without you forcing it.
