When African communities keep, honour, or ritually engage with the remains of their ancestors, the same institutional Christianity has spent centuries calling it idolatry, paganism, and darkness.
The physical act is not different. A human skull is a human skull. The difference is who holds the power to define the categories.
One practice is protected by centuries of European institutional authority and declared holy. The other was condemned, suppressed, and used as justification for colonial missionary work.
This is not a theological debate. It is a question of who gets to decide what is sacred and what is superstition.

👀 Cris Cyborg just interrupted Claressa Shields’ victory lap with a $2 million challenge…

Cyborg says she offered Claressa $2 million to box her at 160 pounds before the end of 2026. She then claimed Shields instead accepted $500,000 to face an older opponent with fewer professional wins and zero career knockouts.

If that money is legitimate, I don’t understand why Claressa wouldn’t take it. Cyborg is the smaller and far less experienced boxer, this should be a massive payday against an opponent Claressa believes she can dominate.

Is GWOAT right to dismiss Cyborg, or should she accept the offer and settle this inside the ring?

So let me get this straight. Yall say Claressa isn’t better than Laila Ali cool you entitled to your opinion. Then yall said Claressa fought a grandma because she was 42 , which is not a grandma again your opinion. But what Im trying to understand is how yall don’t have the same energy for Laila Ali for fighting a 48 year old damn near grandma who was alleged to be a streetwalker.
