A vacation that we teachers DESERVE!
We teachers are also human. Our mental, emotional and physical health matter.. While our job is truly rewarding, it may also become taxing especially if you don't take a break once in a while.
Nothing is guaranteed, not even life itself. I always tell that to my colleagues. You better do it today coz tomorrow is not promised. "Kanus-a paman mo mo-enjoy? Kanang di namo katikang?" cliche as it may sound but this is true to some whom I knew never explored places even before their retirement.
Honestly, I was stunned and amazed when they said YES to the idea of coming out of their comfort zones, and some challenged themselves to ride on a plane for the very first time. Thus, exploring Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Calabarzon and National Capital Region was an incredible experience of a lifetime. It's my second time here but since, they haven't explored these places yet, I still presented it to them to experience how beautiful, calming, amazing these places are. And yes, I used my entire Mid-Year Bonus just to book round trip tickets from Cebu to Manila and vice versa for some of them, para dili na gyud ma-drawing ang laag.
Other teachers from other schools joined us too! So basically, 5 schools kami lahat. "Love you guys. Missing our Team Hampaslupa! This trip wouldn't be as incredible as it should be without you guys. โค๏ธ"
I wouldn't mind being the travel planner, coordinator, organizer, treasurer, entertainer, photographer, videographer and all, makita ko lang silang masaya, masaya na rin ako. ๐ I felt so much fulfilled looking at their happy faces, hearing their echoing laughter, watching them scream on the 4x4 ride at Sand Dunes, seeing them scared at Kennon Road going up to Baguio. It's all worth it! โค๏ธ Makahilak ko magtan-aw sa pictures. ๐ฅน The experiences and memories we shared were one for the books! Thank you God for these treasures. ๐
