With the holiday season upon us, this is typically when people would be mailing gifts and such to family members, but that's not possible at the moment because of the Canada Post strike.
The West Prince Graphic is looking to speak with residents about how they've been impacted by the strike.

Send us your photos! With the warmer days arriving, there’s plenty of opportunity to get out and take photos of this beautiful region of PEI. The West Prince Graphic would love to feature one of your pictures in our Photo of the Week section. Please keep in mind that photos will be in black and white but many photos look fantastic in black and white! Would prefer pictures taken in western PEI. Please include as much detail as possible when submitting, including location of the photo and name of the photographer. Images can be submitted to [email protected].

With the announcement that the PCH will be accepting fewer critical care patients at the hospital's progressive care unit and the ongoing staffing shortages at the hospital, the West Prince Graphic is looking to speak to someone from the West Prince area who might have been impacted by the closure of the ICU at Prince County Hospital and it being downgraded to a progressive-care unit. They might have stayed on the progressive-care unit and seen first hand the stress staff is under or had to be transferred to the QEH. Or perhaps you are a healthcare professional who works at the PCH that's from the West Prince area and would like to talk about the situation.
