The Sawatzky's Furniture & Appliances Pack a backpack school supply drive is on until 6pm today, AND 9-6pm tomorrow from Superstore in Winkler. We’re accepting donations of school supplies or cash(we have a square so you can use debit or credit, OR donate at the till. The funds and supplies will be split between Garden Valley and Western School Division.

The Pembina Valley was lit up in a big way! 🎆

Shadow Valley Illuminated brought fireworks, music, and a massive crowd to Shadow Valley MX for its first-ever event.

And judging by the turnout, this likely won’t be the last time we see the Pembina Valley illuminated like this.

Good luck beating this Show Us Your Summer entry! 😍

At nearly 86, this Morden resident still proudly wears the shirt she entered in the Queen pageant at the Morden Corn & Apple Festival in 1988.

She says she lives right in the middle of the festival, enjoys the free corn, visits the vendors, buys tasty treats, and takes in the music either in person or from her apartment window.

Never too old to enjoy a special summer tradition in Morden!
