Heritage Days is happening now at the Pembina Threshermen’s Museum, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

From antique tractors and machinery to interactive demonstrations and historic buildings, visitors are getting a hands-on look at the region’s rich agricultural heritage. It’s a great chance to explore the museum, meet the passionate volunteers who keep local history alive, and hear some incredible stories from the past.

PembinaValleyOnline readers from across the region captured stunning photos and videos of today's severe weather including Lucas Millar who was able to capture what appears to be a tornado on the ground three miles south of Miami. The R.M. of Thompson was part of a series of Tornado Warnings issued Tuesday afternoon, and after CMOS Accredited Weathercaster Chris Sumner reviewed the video, he is confident this is a tornado Lucas caught on video.
"Storm chasers in the region, around the same time, captured similar looking events," Sumner explained. "There is clearly rotation and you can see it is attempting to form all the way to the base of the cloud deck."

At 4:57 PM CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.
