Ever wondered how Ugly Christmas Sweater Day came to be? It all started in 2002 in Vancouver, Canada, when two friends decided to throw a quirky holiday party to raise money for a friend's cancer treatment. The idea quickly caught on, turning into an annual tradition that spread across the globe. Today, every third Friday in December, we celebrate by donning our most outrageous and festive sweaters, all in the name of fun and charity!

We love running into old friends and customers of Friesens...in this case, former Canadiens de Montréal Ryan Walter posing with our Atlantic Provinces Sales Representative Ron Such and Ryan's wife Jennifer...and the biggest Stanley Cup ring we've ever seen! Ron can hardly hold his hand up! 😂

Friesens was proud to print Walter's latest book, "Breakout", earlier this year, as well as "Hungry: Fueling Your Best Game", released in 2011. Good seeing you again, Ryan!
