I figured I would celebrate my Birthday the way I wanted for the first time ever in life... This is from last weeks adventure to Rock Glen Falls 🍂🍁 The 1st of 3 Waterfalls in 2 days

The highlights of my adventure... a little blonde boy who couldn't believe I was going right up to the waterfall (he thought I was gonna get a shower...lol) and meeting a rescue dog that was so cute and friendly

No matter what life throws at you always remember that you can find love and joy in every moment, because it's that energy that starts to attract the most amazing life to you.
Sometimes you are surrounded by all the love you need you just have to be a little more open to seeing it ✨️ 💖

I may not have received everything I wanted, but I got my waterfall adventure, alot of Birthday wishes from some of my favourite people and a drama free day....other than from my own thoughts...lol. The brain is weird.

To all my friends and family...

I haven't been as active on social media because I've been working on alot of things to grow my money, knock off a bunch of goals, learn and make every possible move I can towards my dream life. One step at a time.

Truth is, the things that once meant alot to me are now less important as I heal and grow.

I finally got my G licence in October and have had so many amazing shifts in my life because of all the discipline I created within myself. My life is truly unrecognizable since I left TBay 2 years ago.

I'd like to say all the shifts were good, but life is not a fairytale. The bad stuff often helps us reach our full potential once we learn our lessons and I have truly become my best self. Stronger...strong as f**k actually, more disciplined, more loving, accepting and driven 🥰

Here's what I've been working on as part of my big goal and I'd love for y'all to check it out....

What if I told you, all you have to do is walk up the hall...

It's something Steve Harvey always says "Walk up the Hall. There's some more doors" 😂

Walk up the Hall, climb up the mountain, whichever metaphor you wish to use. The Universe 🌎 will always test you before it blesses you.
Last month the Universe decided to kick the crap outta me....emotionally. I know how this works, I've been here before.
The storm comes before the blessing that you asked for. So know, that if something f**ked up is happening in your life, it is for your own growth so you can become the person that deserves that very thing you asked for.

I am not sure how I'm gonna go on my next adventure, but I have done it many times in the past...I guess I just have to trust.

Know that whatever you are going through, you are not alone...and although we all live very different lives, we will all end up where we are meant to be, at the perfect time, with the perfect people....ONLY if we continue to move forward and grow.

Keep growing...you got this ❤️🥰

The thing I love about travelling to new places is the discovery....

You get to take a new path, sometimes they aren't the greatest but you discovered something new and sometimes they are AMAZING and totally worth the trip and the adventure 💚

Sometimes we are open and see the beauty in front of us, sometimes we envision what it will become during a different season, and sometimes we are closed off and only see what we are used to believing.

The waterfalls here are beautiful, even in winter...and the path albeit not much at the moment will for sure be a beauty in the Spring and Summer...once all the leaves on the trees grow back.

Maybe by then I'll be back to mybkow carb eating and have more energy again...haha.

Sometimes it's okay to fall off the path, because sometimes it leads to our biggest growth and our greatest successes ✨️💛🥰

it is hard to believe this was 2 years ago...

Mazukama Falls, a very frozen one. Bound and determined to fight my way up the icy trail cuz I was a little stubborn in this moment...haha 😋 I made it to the Falls, and managed not to bust my ass until the way down 😂

This is one of my favourite trails in the Thunder Bay area....actually in Nipigon, although I have yet to adventure it in the summer time.

It is also the last time I visited my Grandpa, although I did talk to hime this past weekend...I went to go see him right after my hike.

It is Christmas time 🎄 and I think alot of people forget the actual meaning of Christmas, too wrapped up in the buying gifts, busy at work, I have 10 million extra things to do...it is so important to rest and do something for yourself as well. After all, we are our best selves when we take care of us too.

Christmas is about spending time with the ones you love, whoever that may be, friends, family....even if it is just yourself. Our lives are all very different from one another and that's okay...it is important that you spend time doing things that fulfill you and release some of the pressure on yourself. The greatest gift 🎁 is the present moment, so stop and enjoy it every once in a while.

Shaver Falls...

The 2nd of 3 waterfalls at Tiffany Falls conservation area. I usually go full out when I go to hiking trails, but this time I had to rest.

We all work so hard and push ourselves past our limits sometimes, and pushing is good for growth, but to also know when you've had your limits and rest. It makes us better for the next adventure 🏔

This is lower Shaver Falls, I can only imagine the Upper...but I'm sure I'll be back in the Spring or Summer....when the trees have grown back and I'm sure a beautiful trail. The trees make the trails more calming and the sun ☀️ makes the waterfalls more majestic...I think anyway.

Tiffany falls, a beauty for sure 💙

I had this on my bucket list for a while...of course it was the one I chose for my adventure. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the Spring and Summer if it looks this pretty as we are nearing winter.

We never know why things happen the way they do, until the next chapter begins...

I knew I was supposed to go to Tiffany Falls, and I went to get my highway practice before my G road test last Wednesday.

One belief that I have had for a while, is that everything happens for a reason. You are exactly where you are meant to be in this moment right now, and it is all for your own growth and evolution.
Sometimes things don't make sense in the moment, but always comes to light exactly at the perfect time.

I don't know why things happened the way they did, it honestly makes no sense to me, but the important moments make no sense ever in the moment. They are crushing, they are daunting and we usually end up stronger once we get through the sadness. A stronger belief that we are enough, we do deserve better and we end up fighting for the very thing that we want once we get past that fear and insecurity that was caused by someone in our past.

Sometimes the Universe tests us, and the fighters are always the ones who wind up on top, with something even better than they asked for in the first place. Believe it and it shall be yours ❤️🥰

A life of adventure is not for the faint of heart....and my first solo adventure since getting my Driver's Licence re-enstated 🤗

Some people create a family, some people party, some people sit at home and read books, some people like to chill with friends. We are all so very different, and that's okay. That's what makes life interesting, that's what makes the world go round 🌏

We all want different careers, different lives, different partners and that is AMAZING! It means there is LOVE and purpose for everyone, you just have to be courageous enough to do the things that bring you happiness, what happiness looks like for you 🥰

I love a life of adventure, road trips, the outdoors, trying new things because every once in a while I find a new thing to like (usually outdoors...lol)

The Universe keeps making me fight for the things I want, but I know enough to know that if I truly want it I will push through and trust. For those if you I haven't told, I passed my EEG and got my licence back end of October (yay) and now I have to Hustle and get my G...lol.

Right now I'm enjoying the present 🎁 moment and doing what I love....adventuring. This time to Hamilton/Ancaster to see Tiffany Falls.

Sometimes we are so busy running from our fears, that we miss out on the most wonderful things in life

I honestly started going on adventures to run from my trauma and my problems, not even realizing that me being in the wilderness is actually what helped heal me

Sitting by the water, life force energy, walking through the trees that keep us grounded. One of my friends always calls me a hippy 😂
A girl who once hated being outdoors, now loves it...because she healed her trauma and became closer to who she truly was.

The beauty of life....the people, the places, the adventures, the people who make you feel like home. Home is never a place, it never was for me anyway.

Home is where the heart is ❤️
