UPDATE: This alert is now cancelled.

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Village of Boyle has declared a State of Local Emergency. A wildfire is burning along Highway 831 south of the Village of Boyle.

The south winds are pushing the fire towards Boyle. Local fire fighters are currently fighting the fire. The Village is currently under an evacuation alert. Please prepare for evacuation by packing a bag for the the next 72 hours.

Do not travel south on Highway 831
Be prepared for an evacuation if ordered
