I was inspired to start this page because I wanted a creative outlet to share a little something about me with all of you!

Meeting you was fate, becoming your friend was a choice, but falling in love with you, I had no control over. Happy anniversary love! I’m forever thankful for that night we met, it was the beginning of us and we didn’t even know.

So funny story for you, if you’ve been following along, you know that we went on this wonderful trip to Alberta with the intention of taking more family photos. We packed up our tripod, the clicker thingy and everything. Once we were there and ready to take our first shot, we realized that we forgot the little piece that attaches the camera to the tripod!

Now you’re probably wondering how we ended up with this shot? No, someone did not take it for us. No, we didn’t buy that missing piece. Instead we balanced our camera on a wooden post and propped up the lens with a box of Oreos and there you have it! A family photo 😂

Also the main reason that is the only location where we have pictures together. Just in case you were wondering …

One of the things I learned over this past two years is that you don’t always have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness. It’s right in front of you. You just need to pay attention.

Discovering and exploring what’s in my own backyard has been such an adventure. Not to say I’m not looking forward to traveling to other countries again - because trust me, I am! But exploring Canada has been on my bucket list for SO long and we’ve finally been able to just focus on that. There is so much beauty and we’ve really been able to take the time to appreciate it!

This has to be one of my favourite hikes we’ve done so far in BC. Are there any others you’d recommend?

Searching for oneself is a journey for a lifetime. Life is what happens in between.

We had the most incredible time exploring the west coast! I always knew Canada was beautiful but I never realized just how beautiful it really is.

This will forever be my favourite lake of all time and I can’t wait to see it again! Have you ever been? I’ve heard it’s gorgeous no matter what season you see it. I’ll have to see for myself!

Be brave. Be wild. And stay forever hungry for art, love, knowledge, and adventure.

It’s such a wonderful feeling to have your fears dissolve into nothingness because of the amazing sensation of being free. That is how I felt atop this mountain. I forgot all about my fear of heights. This view had captured my every sense and left me breathless.

Forget all of the reasons it won’t work and believe in the one reason it will.

Getting to this exact spot was a little bit difficult and looked sort of ominous. It was also windy as heck that day! But I knew we be could get to it safely and the view looked too incredible to pass up!

How do you think it turned out? Would you be brave enough to sit on the edge of this rock mountain?

If there’s even a slight chance at getting something that will make you happy, risk it. Life’s too short and happiness is too rare.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about taking chances and how it’s really just about overcoming your fears. Because the truth is, every time you take a risk in your life, no matter the outcome, you’re always glad you took it.

So stop being scared and go for it. Either it will work out or it won’t. But that’s just life and it’s worth living.

I feel as though the best moments are those that are unexpected.

We stumbled upon this spot when we first moved here months ago and it didn’t look like much but in the summer it’s absolutely beautiful. Wouldn’t you agree?

I could see myself with a good book sitting here for hours. While the ducks swim along and the bees busy at work.

It’s a great reminder that we don’t need to go far to find beauty. There’s so much around us. Sometimes we just need to look at usual things with unusual eyes.

Life is about moments. Create them. Don’t wait for them.

The most beautiful things in life are not things. They’re people, places and memories. They’re feelings, smiles and laughter.

I’ve been trying to not take any day for granted. Sometimes that’s more challenging then it sounds. But it’s teaching me how special all the moments in life are!

Hope you’re doing all you can to enjoy all the little moments in your life too 💜

There’s no time to be bored in a world as beautiful as this.

Keep moving forward. Life is short and the world is wide. There’s is still so much I want to see. So much I want to explore!

Where will you go when we can start traveling again? I know some lucky few have already had the chance to start. But if you’re like me and still under restrictions, what’s the place you’re dreaming of?

We’re supposed to be able to travel across provinces starting July 1st and I’m really excited about that. It’s progress and it means I can finally go on a road trip! So that will probably be the first bit of traveling I’ll do this year.
