When we were kids, I always felt like I had to protect you… but looking back, you were the one quietly making sure I was okay.

I say go see Kayla at so you have something to show off.

Honestly though, from the time you enter the door you can feel that you will be in for a new dental experience. As much as I loved my conversation with Kayla, the heated blanket and eye masks from the clinics' comfort menu really upscaled the moment.

A full decade of loving you.

I thought I knew what love was, and then I held you for the first time.

I thought I knew who I was, the type of parent I was going to be. But you helped me grow into a better version, a stronger version of me knowing there is nothing in this world I wouldn't tackle for you.

You are funny, you are brace, your are kind, your are smart beyond your years and you are one of the best humans I know, and you've only had a decade ... think of how far you will go.

You test and challenge me, I don't always say the right things, but I promise there is no one on this Earth who loves you or is more proud of you than me. You're my very best girl and and I can not wait to see what the next 10 years and all the ones after that have in store.

Y'all, I'm bringing book reviews back to the blog!

Why, you ask, great question. Because I want to. But also because I've been reading so many good books and I need to share my thoughts, and then I need you to read them too so we can be book besties.

First up is Rockstar series, there are 8 books plus some bonuses in this series, and I would venture to say it's the series that hooked me back into reading.

Guys, I'm finally in my reading era. Like 49 books so far this year 😯

I'm definitely a romance girlie and am so excited after seeing the cover for 's upcoming release, The Book Binder🗝️

The book comes out on December 6th 2024 and I can't wait to see what is in store for us.

The moment I read this quote I knew this book was for me, “Remember that a woman could easily sl!t your thro@t while you sleep and wake up to take care of her children the next day”

A little vacation recap

The kiddos had so much fun visiting Brickville and seeing the Aquatarium and checking out Ribfest. We got lots of beach time in, even on unbeachy days and then made a trip to see my family (where I got seester time with the very best) to celebrate a wedding and dance the night away and some puppy cuddles.

It was a fun packed 2 weeks with my favourite people 🌞
