Once upon a time I met this guy at a birthday party! He was a B.C boy, I was an Alberta gal and we hit it off.

A couple days later he messaged me on MSN (who here remembers MSN messenger🤣🙈 ) and asked me out on a coffee date to which I replied “you gotta try harder than that 😳😂🙈” and so he did.

24 years later, here we are … 22 years married (a couple weeks ago), 5 babies, 2 beautiful daughters-in-law, a whole lot of fantastic memories and a guessing game of who has more grey hair👴🏻👵🏻

✨ Bubble Braids ✨

Welcome to Everyday Braid #14 of 15! 🤍

We’re almost at the end! And this one is definitely a fun one.

I started with the two smaller bubble braids along each side of my head. For each one, I sectioned the hair with small elastics, then gently pulled apart each section to create the little bubbles and add some volume. Once the side braids were done, I created the larger bubble braid down the centre, using the same technique; small elastics to create sections, then gently pulling each section apart to make those big, fluffy bubbles.

I love how playful this one is! It looks like a lot is going on, but it’s actually just a bunch of little ponytails and elastics. 🤍

I know how easy it is to hang back.

To think about your body.
How you look in a swimsuit.
Whether you feel confident enough to be in the pictures.
But your kids don’t see you the way you see yourself.

They see Mom 🥹😭

So get in the water.
Get messy.
Laugh until your stomach hurts.
Let them splash you.
Because one day, these will be the memories they hold onto.
Not what you looked like.
That you were there 🤍

No trending audio on this one. Just their giggles in the background. And honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🫶
