It’s been a little while since this beautiful day—mostly thanks to some video upload issues—but I’m so excited to finally start recapping my incredible summer and fall weddings!

On August 16th, I had the honour of being both the officiant and DJ for Andrea and James—now officially Mr. and Mrs. Lee! 💍✨ Their wedding took place at the gorgeous Evergreen Acres Farm, a spot I was lucky enough to be at multiple times this summer, and every single time it feels like magic (even in intense heat haha).

Andrea and James’ ceremony was heartfelt and full of joy, leading into an unforgettable celebration surrounded by their loved ones. And during their own speeches later in the night came one of my funniest wedding moments of the year—one I can’t wait to share when I post their full story recap soon! 🎤😂

Almost exactly one month ago, on August 15th, I had the honour of DJing the wedding of Jack and Liz—now officially Mr. and Mrs. Edmands! 💍✨

This one was incredibly special for me. Over the past two years, Jack and I have spent countless hours together with the Bradford Rattlers Junior Hockey Team, chasing and ultimately winning back-to-back championships. Through it all, I’ve seen his passion not just for hockey, but for life itself—and it’s been inspiring to watch him grow into the man, and now the husband, he’s become.

And right there alongside him every step of the way has been Liz. From cheering in the stands at home games, to travelling on the road to support the team, she’s been Jack’s biggest supporter and the rock he can always lean on. Seeing the two of them celebrated by their family and friends at Heritage Estates was an unforgettable experience, capped off by one of the best dance floors of the summer. 🎶🔥

Jack and Liz, thank you for letting me be part of your day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and as many wins off the ice as we’ve shared on it. 🖤🏆

On August 9th, I had the honour of officiating and DJing the wedding of Sierra and Connor—now officially Mr. and Mrs. McGregor! 💍🌾

Their ceremony took place in the open field at Evergreen Acres Farm, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful—surrounded by nature, family, and so much love. From there, we turned it up for an incredible reception that was truly their kind of party. With lots of EDM tracks for our groom Connor and unforgettable moments led by our bride Sierra on the dance floor, the energy never stopped all night long. 🎶🔥

Following their beautiful garden ceremony at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort, the celebration carried right into an incredible reception full of energy, laughter, and family reconnecting. The vibes were so good, and it was awesome to see one of my former couples, The Fullagers, keeping the dance floor alive all night long! 🎶🔥

Kicking off my August wedding recaps with a truly beautiful day—on August 1st, I had the honour of marrying Brenda-Jeanne and Robert at the stunning Eganridge Resort in Fenelon Falls. 💍✨

Their lakeside ceremony was filled with love and joy, followed by a celebration that carried through the evening as family and friends gathered to honour their journey together. From heartfelt vows to a night full of laughter and dancing, it was the perfect way to begin this new chapter as husband and wife.

One week ago, I had the honour of officiating and DJing the incredible wedding of Monica and Zach—now officially Mr. and Mrs. Manifold! 💍🎉

Their ceremony at the beautiful Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club was full of love, laughter, and the kind of joy that only comes from two people who truly get each other. I’ve known Monica for well over a decade, and it’s been such a gift getting to know Zach throughout the planning process. Seeing not just the amazing partners they are, but also the loving parents they’ve recently become, made this one extra special.

And when it came time to party? Let’s just say with a bride who loves Morgan Wallen and a groom who absolutely lives for Kesha… it was one unforgettable night on the dance floor. 🎶🔥

On July 19th, I had the absolute pleasure of marrying Jaclyn and Brandon—now officially Mr. and Mrs. Staal! 💍💙

Their lakeside ceremony at the stunning Eganridge Resort in Fenelon Falls was nothing short of magical, with the Kawartha Lakes providing the perfect backdrop for their vows. After they said “I do,” we headed over to the historic 1837 Dunsford House for an amazing cocktail hour, then kept the celebration going strong with an unforgettable reception in the Treetops Ballroom—DJ’d by yours truly. 🎶🌲

It was a day filled with love, laughter, and so much joy, and I’m so thankful I got to be part of every moment. Jaclyn and Brandon, thank you for trusting me to bring your vision to life!

And the best part? Joyful Receptions is back at Eganridge this Friday, and we can’t wait to return to such an amazing venue!

It was a day filled with love, laughter, and yes… heat—with the temperature soaring past 40 degrees! But that didn’t stop the celebration. After a stunning ceremony, we cranked up the music and kept the dance floor going all night long, led by none other than our unstoppable bride Kristina, who outlasted every single guest! 💃🔥

On July 4th at the beautiful Three Feathers Terrace, I had the honour of marrying Erika and Adam—now officially Husband and Wife! 💍✨

Their ceremony was heartfelt, full of love, and surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. It was the perfect way to celebrate a couple who truly light up every room they’re in.

If Adam looks familiar, you’ve probably seen him out on the diamond playing for our local Barrie Baycats championship IBL team—where you’ll just as often find Erika in the stands, cheering him on louder than anyone else! ⚾️💙

On June 28th, I had the honour of standing with Cass and Jake as they said “I do” surrounded by all their favourite people back home in Ontario-now officially Mr. and Mrs. Gross!

After building lives out west, these two returned home to celebrate their love with a beautiful backyard ceremony and an incredible backyard reception at Jake’s family home in Minesing. It was the perfect mix of heartfelt moments, laughter, and one epic party-officiated and DJ’d by yours truly.

Cass and Jake, thank you for letting me help bring your vision to life and for trusting me to be such a big part of your day. Wishing you both a lifetime of adventures together, wherever home may be.
