The Trump administration has canceled travel for already-approved refugees and erased protections for trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse people. This is a devastating rollback of human rights that will leave thousands stranded and vulnerable.

➡️ Hope for Refugees International & UPlift Black call on Canada to:

✅ Expand refugee resettlement for LGBTQ+ & Black refugees.
✅ Strengthen asylum protections & eliminate systemic barriers.
✅ Publicly denounce the U.S. attacks on diversity, equity & inclusion.
✅ Increase support for refugee-led & Black LGBTQ+ organizations.
