GOODTHINK - Guilt
Here we go, the triumphant return of one of our absolute favourite people in the scene, Maya, and this release rounds out the HHR discography to 20 releases! What better way? Pay close attention here because this one can’t be overlooked. It’s one of our personal favourite releases in her amazing and vast catalogue of works. We knew this one had to get the vinyl treatment early on.
Guilt is a grind unicorn. This album is some of the most frenetic grind you will listen to, changing and building in tension with each song and running the gamut of subgenre influences in the process. Math? Yup. Jazz? Mhm. Grind? No shortage here. Guilt is a 20 minute freight train that will kick your ass. Guilt was the final release under the Goodthink monicker and in our opinion, the best representation of what this band was meant to be. We’re so stoked to get this niche gem into your ears and we know you will love it as much as we do.
The remaster of these tracks was handled once again by Jack Shirley, who has really upped the game here. These tracks sound massive.
After TCP, we knew we absolutely had to work with Maya again, and we’re so happy it could be on this release. The cover art on this release of Guilt is a completely new design by Kyle Calvert, with a special nod to the original art on the insert!
