What if that delay could actually put up to $2,400 in your pocket?

Most people think a delayed or canceled flight is just bad luck…
but in Canada, that’s not always true.

Under the Air Passenger Protection Regulations (APPR),
you may be entitled to real compensation — not just apologies.

💰 If your flight is delayed or canceled due to the airline:
You could receive:
• 3–6 hours → $400
• 6–9 hours → $700
• 9+ hours → $1,000

And it gets even more interesting…

🚫 If you’re denied boarding (overbooked flight):
You could be owed up to $2,400

🍔 Waiting at the airport for hours?
Airlines must provide:
• Food and drinks
• Access to communication (Wi-Fi)
• Hotel + transportation (if overnight delay)

🔄 Even if the delay is NOT the airline’s fault:
If they can’t rebook you within 48 hours,
👉 you may still be eligible for a refund

So why do most people get nothing?

Because they don’t know…
and airlines don’t always explain it clearly.

📝 If this ever happens to you:
You have 1 year to file a claim
and the airline must respond within 30 days

👉 Keep your boarding pass and receipts — they matter more than you think.

Watched these two ducks peacefully drifting along the water today — moments like this make everything slow down.

Photography and videography started as just a hobby for me, but capturing beautiful creatures like this makes me think… maybe one day it could become something more, even a profession.

It’s been snowing non-stop for nearly 12 hours, and according to the forecast, it looks like it will continue for another 10 hours or so.
The snow has already reached knee level where I live.

There’s a deep silence, a sense of peace, and an incredible visual richness in the scenery.
I’ve been living in Canada for 8 years, and this is the first time I’ve witnessed snowfall like this in Toronto.

Winter landscapes are beautiful, but it’s extremely cold.
Even though I enjoy the winter scenery, I can’t help but look forward to summer.
