Dattatreya Jayanti is an important Hindu festival celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Dattatreya, an incarnation of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, collectively known as the Trimurti. The festival is observed annually on the Full Moon day (Purnima) of the Margashirsha month in the Hindu calendar, the festival falls on Thursday, December 4 in 2025, according to Drik Panchang. The full moon phase (Purnima Tithi) begins at 08:37 am on December 4, and concludes early the next morning at 04:43 am on December 5.
