Photo below is of our owner - Amanda - and her Mom putting her veil on. But Amanda says the most touching part was when her Mom had a blue rose inserted into her bouquet in memory of her Dad. In 2004, Amanda’s Dad was killed by an impaired driver. When she was planning her wedding, she kept saying how much she missed her Dad and was sad he wouldn’t be there to walk her down the aisle. Her Mom talked to the florist and asked for one blue rose to be inserted into Ananda’s bouquet because her Dad’s favorite color was blue and that way, her Dad was still walking down the aisle with her on her wedding day. “My bouquet was made of real touch silk flowers and still sits on an end table in my living room. Every time I look at it and see that blue rose, it reminds me that my Dad is still with me in spirit.”
