This workshop idea has been years in the making! This is one workshop concept we have ALWAYS wanted to offer and have been making notes on how to best execute it for 10+ years. This workshop is an experience inspired by runway shows, DJ’s and clubs around the world, teaching dance, using music to develop confidence, theories on music and cognition, and how to train models to discover their best walk. In music, we find confidence.

Our Live DJ, the curated music playlists, and runway coaching, will give you the ultimate runway experience of the Summer and inspiration for your walk!

Nothing says “expression” like polka dots and big smiles ✨👏

Real time clip of a student trying out expression and movement at Monday’s Model Masterclass. Whether you are a model or not, learning how to express yourself through fashion, music, and movement = positive energy and a greater sense of self.

I used to introduce students to concepts of expression for the camera and how to pose, just in front of the mirror in the studio or classroom, but while this is still a great warm-up, what we learned from years of doing creative shoots and bookings, is that that pose, expression, and embodying confidence on the spot, are skills you really have to hone in practice, in real time, with the camera. You need the audience (the photographer and team) to help you feel powerful and strong as a performer. Mentored photoshoot experiences are great for this!

This is a great natural clip of a young model’s FIRST time in front of the camera for a shoot and living it up! Here is to the next time!
