That’s right! Our Nerdy Cafe Night is on THIS FRIDAY!!!!!

Since it is the Christmas season; one of the best ways to get into the festive spirit is watching The Nightmare Before Christmas! Thats not all, we’ll have popcorn popping, hot chocolate, coffee, our canteen (goodies and merch to be had), and an ugly sweater competition!

Trust us: we’ll get you into the festive spirit in a nerdy way!

Team Up Thursday is hitting with one of our three streamers: Tomfoolpie! His segment is Gaming with Tom on Tuesdays (12pm-3pm) where you’ll be able to check out his gaming prowess in League of Legends, Overwatch 2, Valorant, Rocket League, and more!

Here are some facts for you to know about Tom:
- Xbox is the reason for this man’s unique gamer tag
- Started off as a student leader
- His favourite Demon Slayer is Zanitsu
- He thinks Nightwing and Starfire makes good couple (no idea why, but we still love him 😉)
- He hard binged the EPIC musical
- He is one of our key moderators for our live streams
- Often takes the DPS (Damage Per Second) roles and comes in clutch for the team!

Our Team Up Thursday (yes, we are a day late…) feature is Hanover Missionary Church!!!! This church has been partnering with since he showed up at almost 13 years ago (yeah, that long ago!)

Here are some cool things to know about HMC:
- It’s the place of origin where NerdyArc and Coach () grew up going to church, met, and started their relationship
- They have a Christian School operating in the church
- The lead pastor and his wife met Arc and Coach when attending Emmanuel Bible College (small world eh!)
- Our very own Jedi and Ninja grew up in this church

Our first Nerdy Cafe was a HIT!!!!!

-30 nerds came out for some superhero goodness
-Our local comic shop came with awesome nerdy comic resources for our crew to purchase
-We had a canteen that was well loved and even had a couple of t-shirt orders
-Lots of board gaming and video gaming was had while connecting over comics
-An awesome moment to share how Jesus jumped into action to save us and we need to take His lead and help others, but also to hold on to Him!

We had a switch over from our first gaming PC (Zangetsu) or our new gaming PC (???) along with a new monitor and keyboard! Our new PC will be giving us more power for our streams while offering higher quality in graphics and processing. Through having high quality equipment we’ll be able to do more for our Live Streams and be able to engage our online community better.

Summer does not slow down around here! Been helping with PLo () for here awesome streams on Monday Wednesdays and Fridays! Trust me it’s a good time, good connecting, and good Level Ups.

Our little buddy Tater (the cute potato chip) has not just been a fun personality online, but joined me at camp hanging out with the campers . Needless to say, he was a big hit and everyone loved playing “Snatch the Tater!”

I have been developing a personal mascot/logo for my streams, to make them a bit distinct. With that came the change of my gamer logo and Talon the Gryphon. You’ll likely see more Talon through emojis online as well as stickers that will pop up when we do in the community!

What kind of emoji would you like to see for Talon (could be featured in the next post with a shout out)? What adventures should we do with Tater? What have you been loving about PLo’s streams?
