Notice | With a multi-day heat event in the forecast for today, possibly through next Thursday, we would like to take the opportunity to remind you that the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and Belleville Public Library are public cooling centres for those needing relief from the heat.

QSWC is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day for cooling and the library is open Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed Sundays for July and August).

We also encourage the use of splash pads and the Kinsmen Outdoor Community Pool to keep cool. Splash pads located in West Riverside Park (344 Moira St. East), Parkdale Veterans Park (119 Birch St.) and Kinsmen Park (151 Dundas St. East) and are open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Kinsmen Pool is located at 151 Dundas St. East.
