We want to sincerely apologize that our Remembrance Day feature didn’t air as planned this morning. It was incredibly important to us to share that moment of reflection with our listeners, and we’re truly sorry it didn’t go out on time.

It came down to a technical issue; one we tried very hard to fix in the moment, but unfortunately, it just didn’t work the way it should have. We know how much this day means to our community, and it means a great deal to us, too.

We’re deeply sorry for the disappointment and frustration this caused. Thank you for your understanding, and for continuing to honour our veterans and fallen heroes with us today.

UPDATE (12:20 p.m.): Muskoka Road 118 West remains fully closed at Leonard Lake Road, between Milford Bay and Willow Beach in Muskoka Lakes. One individual was taken to hospital and airlifted to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. Five other individuals are reported to have sustained minor or serious injuries. OPP investigation efforts are ongoing. ^pia

COLLISION: Muskoka Road 118 West is fully closed in both directions at Leonard Lake Road, between Milford Bay and Willow Beach in the Township of Muskoka Lakes. Emergency crews are responding to a serious two-vehicle collision. Extent of injuries unknown at this time. A lengthy closure may be in place. Please avoid the area and plan alternate routes, if possible. ^pia
