Your prices need to cover your time, products, expenses AND the business you’re trying to build.

NAIL TRUTH #18: If your apex isn’t right, nothing else matters.

You can have the prettiest color.
The cleanest French.
The most detailed nail art.
The sharpest shape.
But if the structure underneath is wrong, you’re decorating a problem. 😭

Your apex isn’t there just to make the nail look pretty. It helps create strength, balance, and durability. When the structure is wrong, you can end up with:
❌ Weak nails
❌ Breakage
❌ Lifting
❌ Uneven weight distribution
❌ Bulky-looking sets
❌ Constant repairs
And this is where I see so many techs focus on the wrong thing.

They’re worried about getting faster.
They’re buying every new product.
They’re practicing nail art.
But they haven’t mastered the foundation.
Because you can’t file your way out of bad structure.

And you definitely can’t top-coat your way out of it. 😂
Structure first. Aesthetics second.

Once you understand how to build the nail properly, everything else becomes easier — your shaping, your filing, your retention, your timing, and ultimately your confidence.

That’s the difference between simply doing nails and actually understanding the craft. 💅🏽
