যেহেতু এবারের summer টা বাংলাদেশে ছিলাম তাই আমার বাগান পুরো জঙ্গল হয়ে আছে। ফল ফুল শাক সব্জি কিছুই নাই। বেশির ভাগ গাছ মরেও গেছে। যদিও যাবার আগে অনেকগুলো চারা আর বীজ লাগিয়েছিলাম। হঠাৎ দেখি ঝোঁপের আড়ালে অল্প কটা beans । তাই দিয়েই সকালের নাস্তা । আলহামদুলিল্লাহ

This happened in front of our immediate neighbour’s house at 8.30 am. I was checking our mail box at tree line behind the wrecked car on the opposite side of the road. Heard loud noise of braking and skidding like you hear in the movies with car chase taking sharp turns. Was looking and trying to figure out where it is coming from. And then saw that car kind of flying in and banging on the tree with very loud noise. The tree completely came off ground and the car did a 360 turn facing opposite way where he came from. Took my mail, checked on driver if he is okay (thankfully only driver was in car and no pedestrian or car was nearby) and then took the picture from our driveway. The skid mark on road started behind me towards my right side where I took the picture from (2nd pic). The car skid past 2 driveways to hit the tree. It’s a residential area with speed limit 40 km and the road is curved in front of our house. You rarely lose control of a car having 40 km unless the road is slippery and it is dry & sunny weather today. Even you lose control and you are braking (should not make the noise I heard like movies), you may not be able to uproot that tree. This idiot (he is an IDIOT) driving so fast in a residential area where kids and elderly persons walk on the sidewalk and driveway, on a curved road, losing control completely, skidding through almost 100 meters and hitting that tree to uproot it!!! How much speed did he had!?!?!

The police was informed and came. Tow truck just took the car and the IDIOT. City will be notified and the damaged tree will be removed. Thankfully no one was hurt or injured except someone’s pride maybe!! It is early morning during the weekend, otherwise at this time there are lots of kids in that area waiting for school bus as the pickup location is in front of the next house!!!

Please drive carefully and responsibly. If something happens, it is not just you or your vehicle. It can involve other people in your vehicle (your loved ones) or someone else on the road (someone else’s loved ones). Take a moment, look at the picture and pray that this should not happen to you or anyone.
