LONG READ, BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT.
Getting ready to head out today, was a little late, so I couldn't sit back and receive a word earlier.
But THE WORD still came. Even in-between hurried breathes, GOD passes what is needed, not so?

"If it be thou, bid me come."
"Come."
This was the conversation that ensued before one of the greatest faith exhibition of all, Peter walking on the sea.
When the word was given this morning, I tried understanding it, meditating over it.
"How could all that Peter needed just to put his feet upon deep waters be a response?"
It could have been anyone speaking, because one thing was clear, Peter wasn't aware of who was on that water that night.
It wasn't until THE HOLY SPIRIT replied my thoughts, drawing my attention to what Peter was searching for;
"HIS VOICE."
Then followed the scripture, because GOD will always reference the word as confirmation.
"My sheep hear MY voice, and they know."
It became clear, why the sheep(Peter in this case) was confident enough to step upon deep waters; Peter only needed to hear the voice to know.

And it doesn't end there, THE HOLY SPIRIT aligned this with Elijah's encounter during his time of discouragement/depression.
1 Kings 19:11-13(NIV)
11 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”
With finality, a generation is almost out of time and there's so much controversy around GOD'S identity, but there hasn't been a time as this when we all need genuine direction, wisdom and confirmation as this.
Things we can't get anywhere else, but from CHRIST.
Totally felt led to say; "Pray for renewed accuracy of hearing for what's ahead, cause through so much noise and what looks like the intent of GOD, there might be a trace of self."
"Pray for precision in discernment, cause GOD might just be totally unmoved in what is moving you."
"Pray to hear what HE says even in stillness, cause days, phases or moments defined by silence will come."
