Our FamilySearch Library: Know Before You Go VR Tour just scored a Bronze Telly for its Craft-Use of VR. Creating a welcoming first step into the Library before visitors even arrive was such a joy for the whole crew — and seeing it recognized like this makes it even sweeter.

We’re excited to share Tropical State of Mind — the latest music video from Antigua and Barbuda’s Reggae Ambassador, Causion Bailey, produced by Winged Whale Media in collaboration with Elite Island Resorts

This project was pure island energy and a whole lot of fun, infused with the unmistakable soul of Causion’s music. A true celebration of Caribbean spirit and creative collaboration.

Another shiny addition to the shelf! We’re so excited to announce that Winged Whale Media has won a Bronze Telly Award in Craft-Use of 360 Video for our Fall Brook Falls Miramichi Virtual Tour. 🌿

This project gave us the chance to capture one of New Brunswick’s most stunning natural landmarks in 360°, and we’re proud to see it recognized among the best in immersive video.

This May, we had the privilege of attending the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2025.

As one of the Caribbean’s largest and most impactful tourism events, it was the perfect stage to showcase immersive VR for Elite Island Resorts and the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority — and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

From winning a Telly Award to helping attendees feel the destination in a whole new way, this event marked a milestone for Winged Whale Media and offered a bold glimpse into the future of destination storytelling.

Our latest shoot with the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority wraps up a major three-phase campaign, bringing the islands to life like never before with immersive VR technology.

Over the past year, we’ve traveled across Antigua and Barbuda capturing its culture, adventure, beauty, and energy. This has been one of our biggest and most rewarding initiatives — full of laughs, team bonding, thrill-seeking moments, and the warmest hospitality.

But this isn’t goodbye. Our collaboration with Antigua and Barbuda is just getting started, and we can’t wait for what’s next.

The secret’s out!

We’re proud to unveil our latest production, "Sunny Day," the newest music video by Antigua’s Reggae Ambassador, Causion Bailey , created in partnership with Elite Island Resorts. With over 150,000 views in just two weeks, this project celebrates the stunning beauty of Antigua’s white-sand beaches, golden sunsets, and the luxurious Galley Bay Resort and Spa .

What made this project even more special was the technology we leveraged to bring it to life. Using the cutting-edge DJI Focus Pro lidar system on our Sony cameras, we achieved unparalleled precision in visual storytelling. Technological advancements like lidar, photogrammetry, VR, AR, and 3D tools continue to transform how we approach storytelling. At Winged Whale Media, we thrive on exploring these innovations to achieve outstanding results, whether through cinematic productions like "Sunny Day" or groundbreaking XR strategies that redefine what’s possible.
