These are LEGOs.

It comes in different sizes and shapes. It can be assembled into varieties of shapes, houses, animals etc.. In fact, it is entirely a pure work of art.
Just like building blocks and puzzles etc.

Initially, I never liked it when they brought it home because, no matter how I arranged it, my kids will still litter the house with it.
I had a change of thought after I watched them assemble a scorpion with this LEGO with the help of the manual. It was so beautiful and just when I was about to grab my phone to snap it, I mistakenly stepped on it, totally shattering everything they assembled.

I apologized to them and they began another one which is the picture below. They made spider and a snake.

How they were able to hold there emotions while on it even when it was tough and I thought they'll quite baffles me. The resilience, mental skill, attitudes where highly applaudable.

In, I said to myself, this is really effective in building;
- Affective domain
- Psychomotor domain and
- Cognitive domain in children.

Definitely getting more of it for them.

My immediate elder sister called my mum and informed her that she’ll be coming over to visit us during the weekend few years back. Instantly, there was this beautiful serenity amidst us all in the house.

You know that vibe you feel when your newly wedded big sister is coming home with her big baby bump. Laughter and joy filled our mouth and faces.
I couldn’t wait any longer. To me, that weekend seemed like a year 😂. With the help of dad and mum, we all made the necessary preparations and awaited her arrival.

Finally, the long awaited hour was over and here she comes. After having her bathe, we ate, gist and before we knew it, it was already night time.

I want to sleep in your room she said. wow, I was super excited and walked her to my room. You know all these pregnant women, when you feel cold, that is the time they will feel hot 😂.
I left the room for her and went straight to my mums room. In the middle of the night, I decided to check on her. Lo and behold umu nnem, this woman was not putting on anything.I started crying 😭 and with so much anger
in me. I asked her, how could you sleep like that on my bed with this big baby bump without even a wrapper?

I did not lay on that bed till she finally left to her husband’s house and a night of the day she left, I reclaimed my space😂 and just when I was about to have a deep good sleep, boom 💥, here comes a terrible nightmare😂.

In my nightmare, I got pregnant and gave birth to a baby that has a complete set of teeth and he jumped out of the delivery bed talking and running round the delivery room. I woke up crying and my sister was the first person I called and told her never to lie down and my bed with her big baby bump again without putting on anything on her next visit 😂.

Mum and dad couldn’t hold back their laughter after I shared with them what I experienced 😂😂

Looking at these two pictures, it might not be perfect, but there are differences between the two.

One significant thing about life is, for you to be noticed, you have to be ready to make a difference, worthy enough to draw attention to yourself.

Pick up the old version of yourself and transform it to the modern one. Don't let anyone do it for you, do it by yourself.

This is not the era people's opinion matters to you, this is the era you think about your pocket as long as you're doing a legit job out there.

I am that type of a woman that doesn’t rest till she hears her husband’s voice each time he embarks on a journey be it local or international and within the state inclusively.

On one peaceful atmospheric evening like that, we were outside our balcony receiving fresh air and hearing sounds from birds and other beautiful creatures in the neighbourhood. My husband tapped me on my shoulder and said: mama, do you know that your calls will land me into trouble one day? I gave him a long stare and he said oh yes! You call too much, take some break from calling all the time.
I withheld my laughter 😂 and couldn’t give him an answer to that question. (In my mind I said, only God knows how many times you gave this a thought before letting the cat out).

Fast forward to the day I took this screenshot, he traveled to purchase goods and wouldn’t be returning home till two days later. I never called as usual to as asked if he has boarded in, taken off, landed 🛬, checked into a hotel room, bath, eaten and what have you. I never gave him a call to ask any of those questions nor to check on him.
He waited all through that morning thinking I will call him which I never did. When he got to the market in the afternoon, boom ! My phone began buzzing with calls and when I checked it, it was my husband calling via video call and I smiled.
The first word he said to me was; nwanyia obi atala gi nmiri (meaning this woman you have a hard heart. I stand to be corrected pls)
I bursted out into laughter 😂. That is you can not call your husband to know how he is doing?
I told him sir! I was only obeying an order which you pass on me. I’m sorry sir!
Him: that means somebody can not play with you this woman?
Me: I’m sorry sir 😂😂

NT: when he left, I was calling my mum to do all the checking on my behalf. I lied to her that I cannot reach my husband through my phone that she should try from her end and she was giving me a positive feedback 😂😂.

I don’t know what some men want oh! 😂😂

There's this one fascinating thing about handiwork which is, no matter how old you get, you'll never forget how to do your work.

I never learned this from anyone and how I got to know how to do this, still remains a mystery to me .
