Make a difference in our community!

🚨 Brantford is in a State of Emergency. 🚨

Food insecurity has reached crisis levels, and families in our community are struggling like never before. The Blessing Centre has been a lifeline — serving those in need every single day — but without a permanent home, its future is uncertain.

That’s why we launched the 12x1000 campaign.

Here’s how it works: 1,000 people step up as “1000 Persons.” Each one rallies 12 friends to give $100. Together, that’s $1.2 million — enough to purchase the Blessing Centre’s building and secure its future.

This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a movement to make sure no one in Brantford goes hungry.

Lately a few people have asked, “What have you been up to? You’re hardly online anymore!”

Truth is… I’ve been very offline — and busy in the best ways. Big projects, new clients, filming days, quiet time by the water, books I couldn’t put down, networking and lots of memory-making with my husband and kids.

Summer 2025… definitely one for the books.

But behind the camera? 😂 We’re often found squished against a wall, balancing near a washroom sign, or crammed into the most unglamorous corner possible.

The video looks amazing… just don’t turn the camera around on my team.

There is great power in social media! I truly believe social media and the low costs involve actually level the playing field when it comes to small businesses v big corporations. You can get out there, build your brand and tell your story using social media, where more than 2/3’s of the population hang out!

I have been the Director of Social Media for an international non-profit organization based in Brantford for the last 6 years. After managing social media platforms for several different businesses & events for a while, I thought I would take a shot at opening my own business! Purple Bean officially opened in January 2018. I am passionate about social media, and would love to help your business optimize its social reach!

I recently was featured on the Tell, Don’t Sell Podcast, and frequently contribute to Marketing Edge Magazine. I speak across Ontario, training business leaders on the power of social media. One of the highlights of my work is travelling overseas with clients to develop creative content and to provide on location social media services.
