Traveling to Toronto Comic-Con this weekend and taking GO Transit? Here's a statement from them regarding Go Train service for this weekend

GO Lakeshore West rail service will be temporarily suspended between Aldershot GO and Union Station to allow for critical track work that begins on Saturday, and lasts until end-of-service Sunday.

No GO trains will operate between Aldershot GO and Union Station. Trains will continue to run all stops between Niagara Falls and Aldershot GO.

There will be no GO Transit service to or from Appleby, Bronte, Port Credit, Long Branch, Mimico or Exhibition GO stations. Riders travelling to and from those stations are encouraged to use local transit options, including the TTC.

Work includes improvements at Long Branch GO, the Burloak Drive underpass, and rehabilitation at the Etobicoke Creek bridge

Regular train service is scheduled to resume Monday, March 23.

Riders can transfer for free with One Fare between GO Transit and most local agencies, including the TTC.
