This social media manager hasn’t posted in two months and in the words of everyone... just popping on to say hi!

The new year has brought on a chance to reflect on the future of Harbour Social Co. To be honest, I’ve felt social media burnout, struggling to find the time and creativity for my own account.

And while I’ve scaled back this year, I’m still here - working with a smaller roster of monthly clients and on project-based work and cheering on small businesses as they take charge of their online presence! Still obsessed with great marketing - just a little quieter about it these days 😏

Had an amazing morning at the Girls Incorporated of Upper Canada Champions for Girls Breakfast! I’ve had the privilege of working with Girls Inc on digital and marketing projects, and it was so great to be surrounded by their supporters and participants this morning.

The keynote by Tierra Hohn on body image and self-confidence was so empowering - I left feeling truly inspired! Thank you to Girls Inc for everything you do!

We make it a point to hike Landons Bay every fall - the colours and scenery are stunning! Truly a gem in the 1000 Islands 🍂

The Lookout Trail leads to a beautiful, elevated lookout point, while the Bay Trail follows the Bay. Love the literal names for a one-time-a-year hiker like me 😆🥾

There are so many trails to explore, you could easily spend hours here. It’s the perfect Thanksgiving weekend activity!

As a social media manager, metrics matter and help with your overall social media marketing strategy, but they don’t define your value or success.

What truly matters? Solving customer problems, generating sales, receiving DMs, getting calls, hearing testimonials, and the joy your business brings to you and those around you.

Social media is a powerful tool—just don’t get caught up in the numbers. Focus on what works for you and what really drives your business forward!
