2010 was an unreal year of Point Guards in the NBA!!

The world shut down, and I doubled down

2020 was a pivotal year for me.

“What are you going to do with your podcast?”

“What will you have to talk about?”

“Uh oh, how will you create content?”

Valid questions at the time. But I decided that I wanted to provide sports fan with an outlet from the world while everyone was uneasy about the state of things at that time.

So here’s the story of how that happened!!

2020 changed everything.

Like many people, I watched the world shut down almost overnight.

At ClickFunnels, demand exploded as thousands of people looked for new ways to earn income and build businesses online. Our team was pushed harder than ever before.

At the same time, sports disappeared.

As a sports podcaster, people kept asking me:

“What are you going to do when there are no sports?”

My answer was simple:

Double down.

Instead of pulling back, I leaned in. More outreach. More interviews. More conversations.

What I discovered was that many athletes, coaches, and sports personalities suddenly had time to share their stories. That led to conversations with people like Jerry Stackhouse, Bruce Buffer, Trevor Moawad, Chris Gronkowski, Max Hall, Thurl Bailey, and many more.

The biggest lesson from that year?

Obstacles and opportunities often arrive wearing the same disguise.

Most people look for excuses when the storm hits.

The people who grow look for openings.
