As previously announced George Lake is in Burgeo this week, and wanted to update interested people on the Saltwind Foundation - a project he is focused on and is building for the benefit of the SW coast.
Saltwind is working with the towns of Burgeo, Ramea, Grey River and Francois to identify, create, and help finance tourism and other business opportunities (like commercial fishing) along the coast, and to build the infrastructure needed. This is a multi year project with all of the benefit / value created going back to the 4 towns.
Rather than do in person on Friday May 8, he is going to do a live interview with Steve at the BBS at 7.30 Thursday evening May 7th.
