👽 2018 Canadian $20 Falcon Lake UFO Incident 1 oz Silver Coin – Canada’s Unexplained Phenomena (Glow-in-the-Dark)
One of the most valuable and sought-after modern Canadian coins, this stunning release from the Royal Canadian Mint originally sold for just a few hundred dollars, but today, most examples sell for $1,000 or more on the secondary market.
This coin commemorates Canada’s most famous UFO encounter, when Stefan Michalak reported a terrifying close encounter near Falcon Lake, Manitoba in 1967. After approaching a landed craft, he was blasted by hot gas that set his clothes ablaze and left mysterious burn marks, a case that remains unexplained to this day.
💡 Features:
First-ever shaped coin to include photo-luminescent glow effects
Stunning glow-in-the-dark red, purple, and yellow accents recreate the blast and craft lighting described in Michalak’s account.
Full-color design by Joel Kimmel, vividly depicting the UFO and the moment of the encounter.
Crafted from 1 oz of 99.99% pure silver with a limited mintage of just 4,000 worldwide.
Part of the Canada’s Unexplained Phenomena series, one of the most popular and mysterious coin themes ever issued by the RCM.
🛸 Fun fact: Canada is a global hotspot for UFO sightings, over 1,100 were reported in 2016 alone, and only 4% remain unexplained.
