Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. We acknowledge and recognize the importance of increasing awareness of the intergenerational impacts of Residential Schools. We wear orange on Orange Shirt Day, a commemorative day led by Indigenous communities to further raise awareness and to honour Indigenous children who were taken from their families and placed in residential schools. 🎉 More great news from Great Pacific Media! Blue Fox Entertainment has acquired international sales rights to Tubi's original YA romantic comedy, 'How to Lose a Popularity Contest'. Blue Fox intends to launch sales during the Toronto International Film Festival.

Based on the 2024 Love List script by Kaitlin Reilly and Dorian Keyes, the film is produced by Great Pacific Media, with Lindsay Macadam and Jason Fischer producing, and Thunderbird's Lori Massini serving as an Executive Producer.

🎉 Exciting News! Disney Branded Television has greenlit the pilot for "Eerie Prep", a new series based on the 'Eerie Elementary' children’s books by Jack Chabert (a pen name for Max Brallier, author of 'The Last Kids On Earth').

This series is being produced for Disney+ and Disney Channel, with Thunderbird Entertainment producing for Disney Branded Television. Hillary Zwick Turner from Thunderbird Entertainment and Lindsay Macadam from Great Pacific Media are serving as Executive Producers.

Disney Branded Television has given a formal pilot order to Eerie Prep, based on the Eerie Elementary children's books, with a gender and age twist.

We're excited to share that Netflix has greenlit "Crew Girl," a new coming-of-age drama series. Crew Girl is a Thunderbird Entertainment / Great Pacific Media IP-owned production, with Netflix as a licensee.

"Crew Girl" follows 16-year-old female rower Teagan, played by Miku Martineau (“Bet,” “Kate,” “Star Trek: Section 31”), as she becomes the coxswain of a dysfunctional all-boys rowing team at an elite East Coast prep school. Production for the series is officially underway in Victoria, British Columbia. “Crew Girl” stars Jessica Paré (“Seal Team,” “Mad Men”) as Ella, Samuel Braun (“The Marshmallow Experiment,” “Time Cut,” “Bad Genius”) as Josh, Kyle Clark (“Hello, Goodbye and Everything,” “The Baby-Sitter’s Club,” “Riverdale”) as Cam and Thomas Cadrot (“Scream,” “So Help Me Todd,” “Family Law”) as Coach Hayden.
