Global BC is a proud sponsor of Dreams Take Flight Vancouver’s 30th Anniversary flight to Disneyland. Since 1993, Dreams Take Flight Vancouver has flown deserving children from BC and Yukon to Disneyland. Their goal is to provide the trip of a lifetime once a year to 120 children with physical, mental and social challenges. The children selected for this flight may never have the opportunity to go to Disneyland. It is truly a “dream” come true for these children who face incomprehensible challenges in their lives. For one fun-filled, action-packed day, they can forget all their troubles and just be kids at the Happiest Place On Earth.

Celebrate BC Rivers Day and World Rivers Day Fraser River Discovery Centre RiverFest takes place on September 20th, 27th, and 28th with family-friendly activities, exhibitors along the quay, live performances, and more!
Sept 20th is a day of walks and workshops that connect you to the river’s stories. Sign up for family yoga, a guided quayside walk, or a horticulture tour!
On Sept 27th, visit the FRDC for the Family Fun Zone and art workshops, stroll along the quay to check out the exhibitors, and enjoy the Lucille Johnstone Workboat Parade.

On Sunday, Sept 28th, visit the FRDC for the Family Fun Zone board the Samson V, and check out the Vancouver Wooden Boat Society's open house! Free admission to the FRDC on Sept 27th and 28th.

FarmFolk CityFolk invites you to the 15th Annual Okanagan Feast of Fields at Luckhurst Farm & Distillery. This three-hour roaming harvest festival celebrates the connections between farmers and chefs, field and table, and farm folk and city folk.
Guests will wander from tent to tent with a wine glass and napkin in hand, tasting offerings from the Okanagan’s finest chefs, bakers, food artisans, vintners, brewers, distillers, and other beverage makers.
