To my sons,
One day, youâll be taller than me. Youâll be strong, independent, and busy building your own life. And maybe, just maybe, youâll forget the sound of your little feet running through the house, or how many times you said âMom, watch this!â in a single day.
But I wonât forget.
Iâll remember the way you looked at me like I could fix anything. The way your tiny hands reached for mine without hesitation. The way you crawled into my lap, even when your legs were too long to fit.
Iâll remember the late nights, the tantrums, the noise. And Iâll remember how, even on the hardest days, Iâd still choose this life with you a thousand times over.
I want you to know something, now and always: You were never a burden. You were never "too much." You were my purpose. My reason. My greatest adventure.
You made me a mother, not just in name, but in soul. You taught me how to be strong when I felt weak. How to be brave when I was scared. And how to love deeper than I ever thought possible.
One day, youâll face your own storms. Youâll question yourself. Youâll feel lost. And when you do, I hope youâll remember this: You are enough. You are worthy. You are deeply loved, not for what you do, but for who you are.
If youâre reading this, know that no matter where life takes you, no matter how far you go, youâll always be my boys. And Iâll always be in your corner, cheering you on, praying for you, and loving you with every ounce of my heart.
Always and forever, Mom
