I am beyond thrilled to announce that I have joined the team of incredible food justice and community advocates at the Alex Community Food Centre. 😃
The Alex CFC walks alongside the Alex Community Health Centre and the national organization Right to Food. Together, with volunteers and an incredible team, the CFC creates and serves nourishing, community-supporting and dignity-building meals to over 300 people, three times a week, plus provides gardening and food skills education and community resources and support to the people of Calgary.

For those of you who are wondering: yes, Lemon & Ladle is alive and thriving! I’m just loosening my grip a bit to be able to continue to follow my passion of food security work in Alberta.
