A Lifeline for Mom: Support Her Kidney Transplant Journey

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

Today, I reach out with a heavy heart and a hope that knows no bounds. A mother of 4; grandmother of 2, a pillar of strength & love in our lives. My mother is fighting a battle that no one should have to face alone. As a mother of 4 she has been diagnosed with kidney failure, a condition that has turned our worlds upside down. Despite the challenges, her spirit remains unbroken, and enthusiastic about being a singer but she needs our help to win this fight.

For the past year, my mom has been on dialysis, a rigorous routine that takes place twice a week. These sessions are both physically and emotionally draining, yet she faces them with an unwavering smile, teaching us all what true courage looks like. However, dialysis is not a cure. Her doctors have made it clear that a kidney transplant is her best chance for a normal life. This brings us to why we are here today.

The journey towards a kidney transplant is fraught with financial hurdles that we are currently unequipped to leap over. The cost of the surgery, the post-operative care, and the lifelong medications to ensure her body accepts the new kidney are astronomical. On top of this, her ongoing dialysis treatments continue to be a significant financial strain.

This is where we need your generosity and support. We are raising funds to cover:

- The medical bills for her dialysis treatments.
- The costs associated with the kidney transplant, including the surgery and post-operative care.
- The lifelong medications and treatments she will need to ensure her body accepts the new kidney.
