Eye spy with my little eye..... a FRACMOD billboard that I designed! 🤩 Not gonna to lie, it was kind of a surreal moment to see a familiar design for one of my favourite clients, let alone in such a high traffic area as downtown. 🚗🚙🚕 I am so incredibly proud to see stepping up their marketing game! Billboards are a true and tried marketing tool, allowing for geographically targeted marketing, brand exposure, increased brand recall, and more. 🎯 Can’t wait to see more!

JUUUST LANDED IN TORONTO FOR MISS UNIVERSE CANADA! You know I had to represent Alberta! 👑👸🏽🇨🇦

If you read my bio, you might’ve tilted your head when you saw Edmonton AND Calgary as my hometown.

Yes, I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. I grew up there, went to school there... but when I moved to Calgary, it felt like a rebirth. I reinvented myself in becoming the woman I am today. Edmonton is my home, but Calgary feels like my home too.

I’ve come realized that home isn’t just where you’re born. It’s where all of your attempts to escape cease.

It was also super important for me to represent my two homes because I have incredible sponsors from both cities. So while the notorious Edmonton versus Calgary rival lingers in Alberta.. if I win, both cities win. Promise. No favouritism. 😉

SO, I want to extend a huge thank you to all my sponsors who made this possible. Honestly, the pageant journey isn’t easy.., And during a time like this, businesses don’t have it easy either. But these businesses stepped up. They believe in me. And I couldn’t be more grateful for the businesses, and my friends and family who believe in my success to win the crown.

Thank you to these businesses. I will represent your services and products proudly on the national stage. I honestly couldn’t have trusted any other business with this insane journey that I’m partaking in. It’s vital in this competition to look, speak and present your best self. And with these businesses behind me, I have no doubt that I am there. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

One pair of pants, two totally different looks and vibes. 😉

You know what I hate about most pants? The ones that look good are so rigid and uncomfortable and the ones that are comfy look kind of sloppy, and the fit always looks unflattering to say the least. But THEEEESEEE PANTS are the best of both worlds! They’re a perfect fit and they feel as comfy as leggings! The stretch is just 👌🏼And it’s all thanks to Livify for making these Freddy jeans accessible in Canada!

Not only are these bad boys fashionable and versatile, but booooy are they comfortable! The high-quality stretch fabric allows the pants to perfectly fit your body, enhancing your body shape, every. single. time. (yaaassss) 💁‍♀️You no longer need to wear sweatpants to your Zoom meetings as they’re quarantine approved for being comfy enough to wear while watching Netflix and fashionable enough to wear out!

So excited to have this timeless piece in my closet for outfit possibilities galore!

Ah yes. *chefs kiss* (a nod to these Italian magic makers)

Instagraaaaamm...Let me tell you about this girl right here.

This beautiful girl Elly is literally one of the most strongest, kindest and hard working business owners I’ve ever met.

There’s a reason why Proskin YYC Aesthetics has 5 star rating on Google and it’s because of this girl here. She genuinely cares about each and every one of her clients, and it shows. And not to mention, her laser hair removal machine is on another level. With over 25K followers on Instagram she’s always posting the most informative (and funny) aesthetics posts. It’s so important that we begin to support local businesses because they genuinely care about the welfare of their clients and the effectiveness of their services and products. You’re not merely a transaction.

As an East Indian girl, I want to kiss my armpit hair goodbye. Okay maybe not kiss, but you get the point. Literally after my first treatment, I saw results months later. No strawberry texture, no little guys making their way through with their little hair follicle, NOTHING, NADA! What I really like the most, is that there’s no need for numbing cream because the machine blows cold air as she lasers it away so the pain is super minimal. The hardest part of my sessions are when she wipes my armpits at the end because she’s tickling me. 😂Literally, that’s the hardest part and that’s says a lot!

Going to a laser hair removal appointment isn’t usually what girls look forward to because of the pain, but I can assure you, with Elly - no pain, just laughs. In fact, you’ll probably be having a full blown conversation with her during and long after your appointment. Because that’s just who she is. A business owner who cares about her clients, their health, their life and their success. ❤️ you Elly.

Thank you to the incredible of for capturing the model in me that I rarely let out. 😂 Not only are you great with teeth, but you’re phenomenal behind a camera!

Oh and get ready to laugh.

This year, I had the absolute pleasure of designing the most meaningful website I have made to this date. It's not completed yet, but I didn't want to wait for the launch to share this story.

During my 6-week travel venture late last year, I visited India for the first time and was met with sensory shock. It's no secret that some parts of India suffer from poverty, weak infrastructure, pollution, limited quality education, and a sparse supply of health + medical equipment and professionals. But I was also met with some of the most spiritual and altruistic beings who were dedicated to changing this.

Enter the Canadians Sharing Locally + Globally organization, a registered Canadian charity that relieves the effects of poverty by improving nutrition, education, and health care in India and in disaster-struck areas around the world.

When we donate to charities, we trust the organization uses our hard-earned money for the greater good and hope it's not going to fund someone's fat wallet. With the CSLG organization, I know for a fact that it is going straight to the people in need. I directly got to witness the effects of an authentic charity, where the CSLG organization donated premium life-changing medical equipment to the Sri Sakthi Narayani Hospital. This medical equipment means longer life expectancy, safe labour, accurate diagnoses and wellness security. I can't imagine living in a world where medical equipment and educated professionals are considered a luxury rather than a necessity. And you shouldn't either.

The charity organization is 100% volunteer operated, and to see such a significant impact being made was eye-opening to say the very least. While I try to make an effort to do some random acts of kindness sporadically throughout the year, this changed my perspective on making seva a priority in my life.

Honestly, I could write a sassy modelling caption with this photo but let’s be real. I’m no model! 😂 In fact, when doing this shoot, I think we ( and I) burst out laughing 97% of the time while I attempted to do the smizing pose or that headache pose or the head tilt pose or this weird yoga pose where you put your arms above your head and tilt your head like your effortlessly stretching... Spoiler alert: it was not effortless.

I’ll be transparent - this photo does not represent who I am in person!

But I’ve realized, I’m okay not being the most model-esque person in the room! I want to be a role-model instead.

But alas, here’s my modelling attempt. Enjoy. *chefs kiss* 😚

In exactly ONE month I'll be flying to Toronto to compete in Miss Universe Canada!!! EEEK!! I am SO excited for this incredible experience and so so so thankful for all the love and support I've been receiving since I shared my embarkment of this journey!

But I'm not going to lie... preparing for this pageant hasn't been all butterflies and rainbows. Preparing for this pageant forced me to visit my hurt museum, unveiling one trauma after another, and massaging out my true purpose in life.

And that is - to leave this world a better place than I found it. It sounds cliche, but it's the honest truth. Whether it's making people smile and laugh or raising awareness and spreading positive change - it's my dharma. (purpose in life)

This pageant also provided me with an experiment. An experiment of vulnerability, challenge, and discipline with myself. And what better way to challenge your confidence, your creativity, leadership, humanitarianism, and academia with a rewarding Beauty Pageant?

As I pursue the crown, I'm learning that the real crown isn't made out of shiny jewels and crystals. It's made out of grit, it's made out of persistence, it's made out of beauty with a purpose. And I hope you join me in my pursuit.

I’m a cornball I know. 🙈

This may sound odd... but this photo is a declaration of my new-founded confidence.

While most Instagram grids often look like a camera roll of stunning, picture perfect selfies, since 2018, I couldn't even take a selfie without deleting it that same second. I could barely bring my arm up to take a photo. I hated taking photos and could barely pose. It didn't matter if the beautiful Cancun beach was behind me, or if I was at the luscious Rice Paddies in Bali. I didn't like taking selfies or have photos taken of me.

I had such low self-esteem, I remember not even looking in the mirror when I'd pass one. A stark contrast to my 21-year-old self who would glance at a reflection if I saw one.

I've learned to love myself, love my flaws, and love my body. It took discipline, it took positive affirmations, it took meditations, and it took difficult conversations. But I did it.

So here's my photo. ☺️

HUMONGOUS thank you to a brilliant photographer in Calgary, who will make you smile, laugh and feel so comfortable around the lens! Thank you my love! ❤️

Side note: if girls/guys like taking photos, wearing makeup or not wearing makeup, bikini shots, fitness photos or what have you - let them. Let people enjoy themselves. ❤️
