The results are in! Drumroll please.....
In August, I jumped into a social media challenge with and the and the members of The Business Circle to test what would happen if I posted every single day for one month. ✨
There's a saying that goes, "the cobbler's children have no shoes." Meaning, a person who provides a skill or service for others is often so busy doing so that they neglect their own personal needs. This was me and social media.
As someone who offers social media services (among many others), I am always looking at trends, staying up-to-date with platform changes, and *The AlGOriTHim.* It's a lot, but I enjoy it because I know my work helps people, but I wasn't prioritizing my own business the way I should.
In this 31-day experiment, I didn't have a perfect strategy. I didn't have a perfect plan. I just posted daily, with a mix of content that explained who I am and what I do, offered value to my audience, and stayed true to my brand.
Some of the content was rough, some days I posted late in the evening, and I only published 11 reels--or 30% of the total posts. Some days I pored over perfectly designed carousels, and other days I threw a hook statement on a b-roll video and wrote educational captions -- It was all positive.
The results speak for themselves.
- Views grew by 3,900%.
- Reach increased by 3,700%.
- Content interactions jumped by 3,300%. 📈
I didn't gain 10,000 followers; the real impact was views, reach, and engagement. Now, more people know what I do, and they will think of me when content marketing comes to mind.
Overall, the takeaway is that consistency compounds. When you show up regularly, you create momentum, and people will remember you when it matters most. You don't need to go viral to create a successful business; you just need to be consistent and create value for your audience.
