Creamy Ham & Mushroom Spaghetti 🍝
Ingredients
• 800 ml table cream
• 50 g butter
• 1 tbsp minced garlic
• 1 tbsp minced onion
• 200 g button mushrooms, sliced
• 300 g smoked ham, sliced or cubed
• 500 g spaghetti
• 100 g Parmesan cheese, grated
• 1 tbsp dried parsley
• 1 tbsp chicken powder
• Salt, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the pasta
Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Sauté ham and mushrooms
In a pan, sauté the smoked ham and mushrooms until lightly browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
3. Prepare the sauce
Using the same pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
4. Make it creamy
Pour in the table cream. Add chicken powder and salt to taste.
Let it simmer gently until slightly thickened.
5. Combine
Add back the ham and mushrooms.
Toss in the cooked spaghetti and simmer for about 1 minute, allowing the pasta to absorb the sauce.
6. Finish & serve
Top with grated Parmesan cheese and dried parsley. Serve warm.
Bon appétit!

Tara kain naka-kamay😊
Kamayan, is a traditional Filipino practice symbolizing community, heritage, and connection to food, especially during feasts served on banana leaves, though utensils are now common; it involves using clean fingers (not the palm) to scoop rice and food, often forming a small mound, and pushing it into the mouth with the thumb.
