Throughout the month, you’ll find markets, live shows, special events, and so much more. It’s the perfect place to shop local, enjoy a festive outing and soak in the magic of the season.

Our friends in East Village are celebrating their Community Tree Lighting event and everyone is welcome to join in the holiday cheer!

Bundle up and head down to 5th Street Square (5th St & 7th Ave SE) for an afternoon filled with festive fun — hot cider, a cozy beer garden, Santa letter-writing, holiday crafts, hot chocolate, food trucks, cheerful carolers, Santa visits, and of course… the magical tree lighting at 5:15 p.m. ✨

Meet our lovely neighbour - Jenna Campbell !

Nestled in the beautiful community of Mount Royal, where tree-lined streets meet bustling local shops, lives Jenna Campbell. A woman whose life is equal parts creative, entrepreneurial, and community-minded. She has charted her path through the worlds of business, beauty, and design- all while building a life grounded in connection, intention, and inspired craftsmanship. She shares her home with her partner Kyle and her blue-haired Chihuahua named Clicquot.

It was during the upheaval of the COVID pandemic that she launched her inspired venture. A jewelry brand born, reflecting her lifelong love of design and personal expression. Her instinct- to see art in the everyday- grew into a full-fledged accessories business that now curates wearable pieces of art.

Today, Jenna and her partner Kyle reside here, where they enjoy the walkable access to a constellation of independent shops and restaurants.. “We really try to support Local wherever possible,” she says. “It’s easy to order from Amazon or big-box stores for convenience, but it does hurt the small businesses that make our communities thrive.” From butchers and coffee shops to textile artisans and farmers, she’s adamant about showing up for the businesses that shape her neighbourhood. Whether Jenna’s designing jewelry, pampering clients, or dining out at a locally loved spot, she’s building something much bigger than just a business- she’s nurturing a life that reflects the best parts of creativity, community, and connection.
