Super appreciative for volunteers at the Calgary Cultural Centre for passing on traditional recipes and foods to our kids! We learned how to make our own sweet rice ball dessert (tong yuen) from scratch! ML even cooked it at the stove herself! It was delicious 😋

We love going to New Horizon Mall’s Halloween event because it’s indoors! It’s so much easier to show off the kids’ costumes without the hassle of jackets and toques! There was trick or treating, magic show, glitter tattoos and craft table!

This year, the girls kept telling me to call them Elsa and Anna, so of course they had to dress up as them!

Swimming lessons this fall have been a weekly endeavour for our family. ML loves the water and always looks forward to swim lessons. MJ is still in parent & tot classes and won’t let go of daddy - too scared of the water still. My hope is they will both learn to swim eventually, but for now, it’s just good exposure for them regardless!

The City of Calgary pools are way too cold for my little kiddos, so we’re always trying to register them in other facilities like YMCA, Vivo, or even City of Airdrie!

We frequented this little beach in Chestermere this season because it was less busy and had less rocks around, making it perfect for little kids like mine!
