I've been looking for the perfect summer top with a gathered bust and poofy sleeves - and it's now been found thanks to (and some very pretty stash fabric)!

The Willow Top is versatile enough to pair with a skirt for the perfect Milkmaid Dress (especially at plus sizes!) or with trousers for asventures in the park.

I made the long blouse with drawstring paper bag neckline and princess sleeves. My only alterations were blending between sizes for my waist and hips.

This pattern's going to get a workout - it was gifted to me for the purpose of the Willow Top Sew and Show, but I have a black eyelet I bought last year that may get turned into a Willow before the end of summer... 🤔

I made a designed by for my 2025!

I managed to put it together in 4 days, JUST in time for - literally sewed on the buttons just before I skibbled out the door to meet

SO many comments about getting ready for Hallowe'en, what with the bat/spider print..but that's my every-day style! Every day is Hallowe'en! 😃

These pants are so comfy...they fit me with very little adjusting!

Of course I now have ideas for future pairs, maybe with a few hacks. We'll see! The versatility is fantastic, and they may have replaced my yoga pants as my go-to. 😁

I made a colour-blocked v-neck shirt by modifying the GilbertTop by

Not only did I alter the neckline and facings, I eliminated the back yoke, widened the back, and did full bust and belly adjustments.

Inspired by and her lobster- locked Tilly and the Buttons Nell top.

Went to Confederation Park this afternoon to sign the petition to remain in Canada. I was happy to see the long lineup. Lots of volunteers handy to keep the line flowing, though!

New video!
I am easily the happiest Wednesday Addams.
It's a sly historybound - the Closet Core Jenna dress in black machine-embroidered gauze fabric...but the pièce de résistance is the collar I tatted with the guidance of Eleanor Riego de la Branchardiére's 1867 Pearl Tatting Book.
And yes, I took the time to go flounce around a cemetery. It's what Wednesday would do.
