Made it home at midnight 🌙

There’s always so much magic getting to spend the evening in the backcountry. If we pushed onto the summit we would’ve missed seeing the grizzly bear.

I packed way too much food but you just don’t know how much you’ll need when hiking pregnant. 🤰

I hope life doesn’t convince you to stop finding magic my boy.

I also wish he will pass this on one day and always find the joy in hand puppets through the light of his headlamp. From zero to five, I’ve had the privilege of raising him in the outdoors and mothering him in the wild. The stories and the lessons together have been nothing short of incredible.

I fill our summers with lots of camping, hiking, and backpacking. I’m on my own motherhood journey and chasing adventure while raising all of my babies.

This summer has us doing more spontaneous adventures as we see how we feel along the way. 🤰 I’m over halfway through pregnancy now and will be finding new ways to explore this summer. ✨
